Is Pakatan "buku jingga" workable??

1. Instruct Khazanah Berhad, Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and other government bodies to take over highway assets from  the concessionaires in order to abolish the toll system.

- By asking EPF, Khazanah Berhad and other government bodies to take over highway assets, means that they need to firstly pay those private company for  their loses in building all these highways.

-Since no toll will be collected, Thus EPF, Khazanah Berhad and other govt bodies will be investing in a project that wont generate them income. meaning they pay the private highway company to take over assets than no income coming in as no toll charges, thus the investment is declared as loses? meaning what ever amount invested by all this company in taking over the highway will be considered losses?

-Not only will the investment be written off as losses but these company also need to maintain and upgrade the highway. meaning to say that, they need to invest money in to acquire highways, get no income back as no toll collection, and futher incur more losses each year as need to maintain these highway acquired by them.

- will the people benefit if EPF that is contributed by employers for the benefit of their workers is lost?

-By doing this also means no highway by private firm, as no one will invest to build a highway and cant collect money back.

2. A restructure of the country’s subsidies, to lessen subsidies given to the private sector (such as the RM19 billion in gas subsidies given to independent power producers) and transferring these to subsidies for the man on the street.

-By not subsidizing these independent power producers, wont the cost of producing electricity and so on go up? thus as private company do they need to up the charges so that they don't suffer losses??

-Isn't the current govt policy of subsidizing these private power producers directly benefiting the people as the people directly get cheaper rates???. By not subsidizing the private power producers and giving the money direct to the public will generate a lot of paperwork. As by doing so now the govt need to find out who uses these power than only give money to them. Is this a practical solution?

_This statement by Pakatan also inform the public that infact the BN govt is already giving RM19 billion as subsidy so that the public at large is getting lower rates!

For the reason stated above please for your own future and future of your future generation make sure that they still has a future to look forward to rather than a vote to give your state or country to a party that will bankrupt it. thus effecting your future and future of your next generation.
