KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested two suspects in connection to the sex video allegedly featuring a man, said to resemble Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, having sex with a foreign woman.
Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) secretary Datuk Ghazali Md Amin, in a statement emailed earlier today, said one of the suspects disclosed the location where the recording of the video had taken place.
Ghazali added officers from the forensics team have been to the scene to look for evidence.
It was learnt the location of the recording was an apartment located at Jalan Ampang Hilir
While stating both suspects have been released on police bail and further investigations are ongoing, Ghazali did not detail the time the arrests were made, nor the identity of the suspects.
Sources, however, told The Malay Mail the two men were Abdul Rahim and Shazryl.
