Lee right man for Senadin, says institute director

MIRI: Being a linguist, incumbent Datuk Lee Kim Shin is the right representative for Senadin which has a multi-racial population of 22,432.

He has a good attitude towards the general public and can communicate well with them as he is fluent in many languages, and therefore have a good understanding of their needs, said Mohd Faizal Tokeran, the new director of Industrial Training Institute (ILP), Miri.

“Being a linguist and having a good attitude towards the people, we feel that Lee is the right representative for Senadin as this area comprises residents of diverse races, religions, creeds and colours,” he said to The Borneo Post recently.

Mohd Faizal succeeded Ramli Rashidi who has been promoted to be in charge of Advance Technology Training Centre (Adtec) in Bintulu.

Mohd Faizal and the ILP community here pledged to ensure Lee would get a big majority in the 10th state election on April 16.

“He is the chairman of our advisory board, thus we must give our full support to him for a resounding victory,” he added.

Miri ILP Students and Training Management Unit assistant director Khairul Azhar Abdul Rahim echoed Mohd Faizal’s sentiment.

“Lee is the right ‘wakil’ and he is a capable leader for his constituency in Senadin because he has a good understanding of the problems of ordinary people.

“We fully support him to serve for another term in the area,” he said.

Lee had rendered much invaluable service towards improving the well-being of all communities in the constituency.

A staunch supporter of Lee in Bandar Baru Permyjaya, George Intai Wan, an Orang Ulu from Baram, also expressed his support to the Senadin incumbent and Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in Piasau and Pujut.

“We want to ensure Miri remains in the forefront of development and only the BN government can assure the rakyat of good amenities and facilities,” he said.
