No water in Miri

04-03-2012:  Photo of the diesel oil spilage used for road construction at Sungai Liku, Miri today. About 14, 000 litres has been identified to have leaked into the river.

The spill have affected the water supply to more than 300, 000 resident in Miri. More news to follow.

Friendly reminder to all Mirians: Reserve your water supply before it gets cut off. It seems that water pressure is getting weaker in many areas of Miri now.

LAKU will need 1 or more days to clean up the leaked oil before normal filtration can start again. Will update again once we've got more news regarding this.
